As a child my mother once said  “being talkative and prissy will eventually get you somewhere but right now you need to help me plant these flowers.”  With a southern belle mother and a gentleman father my life’s work began before I was old enough to recognize it.  I attended charm school as a little girl (twice, I flunked out the first time) and finishing school during the summers of my Junior and Senior years of high school, but with all of that training I had no idea where a background in etiquette and proper manners would take me. 

Fast forward many years and I’m now the Founder and President of Modet, Inc., an etiquette & protocol training firm based in Chicago.  Business is social!  No successful businesswoman got to where she is without developing and maintaing strong professional and social relationships.  I have the pleasure of teaching corporations, organizations and individuals how to build their social capital by enhancing their soft skills.
